Brand refresh, signage and small-batch merchandise
Culmvale Park Stud & Racing first came to us with a request for signage.
What started as a practical need for brand visibility soon grew into a bigger project - refreshing their existing logo, creating an arena banner, designing car window stickers, developing a second logo variation, and producing small-batch merchandise.
This project is a great example of how small business branding can grow naturally.
You don’t always need to start with a full rebrand. Sometimes the best place to begin is with one practical piece, then build the brand properly from there.
Project Snapshot
Client: Culmvale Park Stud & Racing
Project: Brand refresh, signage and merchandise
Focus: Creating clearer, more flexible branding for real-world use
Deliverables: Logo refresh, arena banner, car window stickers, second logo variation, caps, hoodies and soft shell jackets
The Starting Point
Culmvale Park Stud & Racing originally reached out needing signage.
Before jumping straight into production, we looked at how their existing logo would work across the pieces they needed. It had the right foundation, but it needed a tidy-up to feel more balanced and practical across larger signage, vehicle stickers and apparel.
The goal was not to throw everything out and start again. It was to keep the heart of the existing brand and shape it into something cleaner, stronger and easier to use.

The Brand Refresh
We reworked the existing Culmvale Park logo into a refreshed version that felt more polished while still staying close to the original.
The refreshed logo gave the brand a stronger base for signage, banners and merchandise, without losing the connection to what Nicole had already built.
We also created a second logo variation to give the brand more flexibility. This round version worked especially well for social media, cap patches, hoodie designs and other small-batch merchandise.

Logo Variant
Once the refreshed brand direction was in place, we rolled it out across practical pieces Culmvale Park could use straight away.
This included an arena banner for event visibility and car window stickers for simple, everyday advertising on the road.
These pieces were designed to be clear, recognisable and useful - the kind of branding that works in real life, not just sitting in a folder.
Small-Batch Merchandise
From there, the project moved into custom merchandise.
We created a small batch of branded gear including caps and hoodies, using the refreshed logo and the second logo variation where it worked best.
The first run was well received, which led to a second order that included more branded apparel and soft shell jackets for winter.

The Outcome
What started as a request for signage became a practical brand refresh and rollout across multiple touchpoints.
Culmvale Park Stud & Racing now has a cleaner primary logo, a flexible second logo variation, arena signage, car window stickers and small-batch branded gear that can continue to grow with the business.
It’s a great example of building a brand one useful piece at a time - starting with what is needed now, while making sure it can carry into what comes next.
